Lady Gaga refer her fans as "Little Monsters" during her performance in 2009 and she refer herself as Mother Monster.
The nickname came out from the lyrics she used in her songs from her album 'Monster'.
The lyrics refers to her inner fears, the "monster" of alcohol, drugs and death.
