Lady Gaga wore a bullet proof dress during her performance at Joe Biden's inauguration in 2021.
During an interview with Stephen Colbert, she revealed the reason behind the bullet proof dress, "As a performer I understand that I put myself in all types of dangerous situations in order to do what I love," she said. She incorporated the bulletproof vest "so that my mom and my dad and my sister would feel confident."
